You’ll be glad to know the Wingham Motel is within walking distance to many popular local venues.

Wingham is a rural NSW town steeped in rich agricultural history.  The Wingham Museum and a Catholic church are right next door.  The “Log” and WWII memorial de Havilland Vampire fighter plane are just across the road in Central Park.
The typically English town square is also surrounded by a number of historical buildings such as the heritage listed Post Office, Victorian style Arts hall, Federation style police station and Georgian Revival style Court House.

Only 10 minutes walk away you will find the Wingham Brush protected nature reserve complete with a guided boardwalk  finishing on the banks of the mighty Manning River.

So if you’re in town for a function, leave the car at the motel!

Why not treat the family or friends and take a stroll to one of Wingham’s many restaurants and cafés?

Here’s just a few examples of great destinations nearby:

  • Wingham Services Club
  • The Australian Hotel
  • the award winning Bent on Food
  • the chic and popular Tellers Restaurant
  • the Lotus Palace Chinese restaurant

Or, if you’re not the social type and you’re after a quiet, stress free meal, we can arrange delivery from many of the local takeaway restaurants.

Wingham is also very sporting enriched community with a Cricket pitch in Central Park and Tennis Courts nearby.  Soccer, Rugby League, Netball, Go Karting, Archery and Pistol/Rifle shooting facilities all within 5-10 minutes drive.
